Cleaning Operation of UMANANDA OF PEACOCK ISLAND, Guwahati

The second Phase of cleaning operation of UMANANDA IN THE PEACOCK IS LAND OF GUWAHATI was undertaken by SPOT on 28th December 2008. The NCC volunteers of PANDU COLLEGE- DISPUR COLLEGE-PRAGJYOTISH COLLEGE took part in the cleaning in and around areas of UMANANDA with great enthusiasm.For collection of Garbage DUST BINS were also provided by SPOT from the fund of donation receive from Dr Jadmoni Bora, an NRI from UK. SPOT is also taking necessary steps for supply of drinking water system for the convenience of Visitors to the temple.
